2 ways to install Blackey app on mobile phone.

• Scan the QR Code and install the app

• Another alternative is to search the keyword: ‘Blackey’ in the Google Play and install the app.

Hint

For those who need the older versions, please download on Blackey .

Internet Connection

Please make sure that the Blackey app has been installed both on PC and Phone side.

Hint

As long as the blackey engine is not installed for the first time, the system will automatically record the permissions. You can directly check the Launch chapter for more information .

PERMISSSION

Note

The requied permissions will vary according to the version, type, etc. of the mobile phone itself.

DIMMING CONTROL

Sets the backlight permission to dim when your phone goes into sleep mode.

TOOL BAR

The navigation bar gives you quick access to very useful tools.

SCAN THE QR CODE

Please swipe left to allow you to scan the QR code on the Android device.

Launch

You can now launch and use Blackey to control device on PC.

CONNECT TO WI-FI

This is the option to connect to Blacklink wifi, which enables your phone to connect to Blacklink to prepare for casting.

Hint

Blacklink do not provide Internet service, You can refer to this article to set up the mobile phone or computer to access the Internet through Blacklink.

BLUETOOTH CONNECTION

The system will ask to enable Bluetooth pairing permission, please click pairing.

Attention

Please make sure that the Bluetooth function is available for searching and pairing.

BLACKEYBOARD

Open BlacKeyBoard to directly enter text in the input box.

1. Swipe from left to right to open the function page, click the input method.

2. Select Blackey app

Hint

The BlacKeyBoard input method will automatically restore the previously used input method when the Blacklink connection is disconnected.

When the input method is enabled for the first time, it will jump to the setting screen, please enable BlacKeyBoard, the system prompts that your personal data may be recorded.

Attention

Blacklink will not upload personal data to the cloud causing potential leakage risk .
