Update Blacklink¶

This detailed guide will walk you through the process of updating Blacklink.

Hint

Make sure Blacklink is plugged in when updating.

Download the latest version.¶

You can download and update to the latest version of Blacklink Firmware from our official website.

Download the latest version.

Select the ‘.bimg file’ you downloaded.

After the file is successfully loaded, click the update button.

Hint

These errors can be triggered due to ‘Timeout Detection’ on Windows, check the Windows driver update section.

After clicking Update, you will see the status of execution progress.

To continue, click on ‘OK’.

Show login page after reboot the blackey device.

Once this is complete, you can check blackey version .

Blacklink is in download mode while updating firmware. Thus for Windows systems, you should install additional drivers.

Note

While macOS and Linux do not need to install drivers.

When the driver is not installed, the Windows cannot detect the download mode of Blacklink.

please download driver directly either download the usb driver on Google’s official website.

Unzip the file we downloaded, open the device administrator and update the drivers.

Select the file we downloaded for the drivers.

Please find the file you’ve downloaded on your PC.

After the driver installation is complete, go back to the updater and continue updating.
